As is the general trend, I have a few words of my own to toss on the fire.
Everyday I've been working to restore the damage done by Death Eaters to Brookstanton. For a lot whose main purpose is to protect Wizarding Society, I have a difficult time imagining where setting such a wealth of Wizarding history ablaze fits in. No less, every single day it's a reminder of how utterly full of it Voldemort and his underlings are. Even should anyone concede to their rule, it guarantees no one safety from whatever will they wish to impose.
My mother was murdered by the werewolves he enlisted the help of. The Auror who saw after me after she was killed was murdered herself. My friends have been attacked, and I've been attacked. Frankly, there is nothing more for me to say than if the Wizarding World hasn't broken yet, then it will not and certainly not for the false hope of peace.
In conclusion: stick that in your pipe, Voldemort, and smoke it.

Although Brookstanton has sent out thank-you notes to all who attended the charity night earlier this month, we just wanted to further extend our gratitude to everyone who made the event a veritable success. All due credit to those in attendance, as well, for some remarkable numbers reached, and, by effect, a remarkable number of people receiving relief in these hard times.
On behalf of Mr Wood and all of Brookstanton staff, I would also like to take a moment to recognise Mr Patrice Nott for lending his time and his knowledge to the cause. It was an honour to have you, sir, and we do appreciate everything.
And remember: If We Don't Know The Answer, We Know Where To Find It at Brookstanton Memorial Library.

Firstly, Brookstanton Memorial Library would like to take a moment to extend its sympathies and condolences to all affected in the recent attacks.
I have been asked to announce that, in light of the tragedies, the Library has decided to take an active role in lending aid to victims and their families. Starting at five o'clock on the evening of Saturday, March 6th, we will be reopening the West Wing displays for public viewing. The displays have been out of commission with fire and water damages from the fire last summer, and it is with pride that the Brookstanton Memorial Library can declare that all exhibits have finally been repaired to the fullest of the staff's ability.
The evening will be a one-night, formal engagement. Experts from abroad and locally will be present for question and answer sessions. Additionally, we are in the process of booking several guest speakers, whom our chief librarian, Mr David Wood, has assured us are on the verge of confirming acceptance of their invitations. Once we have those confirmations, we will gladly post up a listing of all expected to attend.
All admission fees will be forwarded directly to charity for victims of the recent attacks and their families. Donations will also be accepted all night long for the cause.
And, remember: If We Don't Know The Answer, We Know Where To Find It here at Brookstanton Memorial Library.

Once I realised that I was looking far too much for a quote that was profound and obscure, it immediately hit me that I was going about this wrong. I think most everyone has heard this (or of this in some manner), but I've always appreciated simple language which strikes the right chord seemingly without trying.
'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. - Lord Alfred Tennyson
